MyTicketsToIndia’s Refund Policy

MyTicketsToIndia’s flight-booking services, including convenience & service fees, are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel your booking, we kindly ask you to do so over the phone. Our team is available 24/7 for any kind of help. 

1. Conditions Under Which We Process Refund Requests 

We, at MyTicketsToIndia, process a refund request under the following conditions only:

We understand that changes to travel plans can be stressful, so we want to make the process as smooth as possible. Please contact us if you have any questions or need help with your refund request.

2. Time Frame For Obtaining Reimbursement 

We can’t give an exact timeline, but typically it takes 60 to 90 days for the reimbursement to be processed, starting from the moment you make a request for reimbursement until the amount is credited to your bank account. For our travelers, we understand that getting your money back quickly is important. We hope this information will help you plan for your refund request and make sure you get your money back in a timely manner. 

3. The Workings Of The Refund Process

Once a cancellation request is made to our customer service representative, we will send an email to acknowledge the request. This does not guarantee a refund but acknowledges the request. We then work closely with suppliers and airlines to acquire a waiver, which will depend on their rules. If the refund is approved, we will notify you and it may take some time for the money to reflect in your account. Additionally, our service fees related to the original travel are non-refundable. And, refund fees are applied to each ticket and person. However, if the airline/supplier waives the fee, we will pass it on to you. To our travelers, we want to assure you that we will do our best to process your refund.

‘Refund Against Cancellation’ Policy

In the event of cancellation within 24 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure, we will consider your refund request and process it in accordance with the relevant airline’s ‘refund against cancellation’ policy. we strive to ensure that all itinerary details and airfares are accurately displayed on our booking page. But, sometimes, travelers may experience difficulties in accessing accurate itinerary details and airfare when they book trips with us. If there is an error in the display of any details and the fare has increased by the time we have fixed it, we are happy to offer two options: either to pay the additional amount or choose to cancel the booking and receive a refund. Our customer service team will be happy to help you with your refund request if you have any questions or concerns.

If the airline approves your cancellation application and refund request, we will reimburse the amount to your original account. The refund process can take up to 24-72 business hours if you canceled within the void period, and 4-5 business weeks if you canceled after the void period. However, the time it takes may vary based on the transaction policies of your financial institution, so be sure to check with them. If a refund is made in excess of the amount due, it’s your responsibility to reimburse MyTicketsToIndia the extra amount.

Exchange And Cancellation Policies & Fees

It is our policy that all confirmed airline trips are 100% non-refundable. However, we kindly advise travelers to contact our customer service department 24 hours before their scheduled departure for any potential cancellation and refund requests. Please note that partially used tickets (for one-way, round trips, and multi-city trips) cannot be canceled or refunded. However, non-refundable tickets may be exchanged for a new one with the same airline, but only at a higher fare, not at a lower fare, for a different date. Also, know that the exchange of non-refundable tickets is subject to the airline’s service policy.

If you have purchased a non-refundable airline ticket, you may be required to pay a penalty and additional fare amount (in case of a fare increase) for an exchange. It is important to check the expiry date of the credit for such tickets with the airline directly, as the credit is usually valid for a limited period of time. Then, book a trip with the same airline, paying the airline’s penalty as well as any additional fare increase within the expiry date. Doing so will help you avoid the loss of your credit. 

We only cancel a confirmed trip if it is permitted by the relevant airline. Normally, the details of a confirmed trip (like travel dates, departure point, arrival point, or entire route) are not able to be changed. However, our travel specialists can work with the airline to try and make a change if possible. If the request is allowed, then airline penalties, an additional fare difference, and a change/exchange fee from us may apply. Please get in touch with us to find an estimate of the cost of exchanging your current trip for a new one with the requested changes. We are always here to help you.

Revising travel arrangements, such as modifying flight schedules, can be a lengthy process, with a wait time of up to 72 hours. You accept that any disruption or damage that may arise from the delay in modification is not our responsibility. We suggest contacting MyTicketsToIndia instead of ringing the airline for changes to your booking or cancellation. If you do make changes to your booking or cancel it directly with the airline, we cannot help you with the amendments or issue a refund as the airline has control over your reservation. Additionally, the refund timeline could be longer than normal in these circumstances.

If you need to make any adjustments to your ticket, such as a change in date, you could be subject to additional charges from MyTicketsToIndia. This could include a modification fee, as well as any airline penalties and our service fees (in accordance with our Terms of Service). If you’re unable to travel due to a medical condition and your ticket is refundable, you can cancel the ticket and incur a penalty from the airline and our service fee. If your ticket is changeable, you can switch travel dates, but be aware that you will need to pay the airline penalty, our service fee, and any fare difference. Or, if the airline allows, you may keep the ticket in open status for a certain period and incur penalties from the airline and our service fee, as well as a fare difference. If you don’t use the ticket within the stipulated timeframe, it will be forfeited.

We provide 24 hours free cancellation for reservations that are referred to us from our partner websites from the time of booking. Additionally, we reserve the right to charge a service fee for providing our services related to the cancellation of a booking, change of travel date in a booking, and exchange of non-refundable tickets.
